David’s musical dreams started at the age of 9 when after watching his older brothers friend rip a handful of RUSH songs before a holiday dinner party, his future flashed before his eyes. David began playing private parties in high school and then started his first acoustic duo at the University of Alabama. After college David took his talents to Aspen Colorado where he was the lead singer/guitarist for a handful of local bands including the BS Foundation and Hat Trick. While there he had the opportunity to mix with some of the legends in the industry, most notably opening up the Aspen Jazz Festival in 1999 for Taj Mahal, Keb Mo and Crosby Stills and Nash. David moved back to Atlanta in the early 00’s and opened up his current business, Sandy Springs Music, a music teaching studio here in Atlanta, GA.
